Brea Mohamed

Brea Mohamed is the Executive Director of Imperial County Farm Bureau (ICFB), a membership-based organization that works to protect and promote agricultural interests in the Imperial County as well as the state and nation through public relations, education, and advocacy in order to support the economic advancement of agriculture balance with appropriate management of natural resources. Prior to her role with ICFB, Mohamed served as a Water Operations Analyst at the Imperial Irrigation District working with the On-Farm Efficiency Conservation Program. As an Imperial Valley native, Mohamed grew up appreciating the local agriculture industry through her father’s career in produce and her experience in the FFA. Mohamed graduated with a degree in Agricultural Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she served on student government and was on the first-place team for the National Agribusiness Marketing Association Student Marketing Competition. Mohamed lives in the Imperial Valley with her husband, whose family began farming in the Imperial Valley in 1930 and continues farming today.
